Sgt. Kelley Hendricks

Kelley Hendricks

Sgt. Hendricks came to Odessa in 1981 where she was employed with Odessa Police Department.  She worked various positions throughout the department until becoming a Criminal Investigator in 1988.

Leaving the Odessa Police Dept. in 1993, Sgt. Hendricks began working for Ector County ISD Police Department, patrolling a junior high campus as well as teaching G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training).  She later became responsible for the federal grant awarded to ECISD for the program as well as for truancy enforcement, and auditing other state and federal grants for the department.

In 2001, Sgt. Hendricks left ECISD accepting a position as Lieutenant for Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas.  She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology and her Master of Arts in Public Administration in 2006.

In 2008, she accepted the position as Sergeant at UTPB Police Department bringing with her 24 years of law enforcement experience and hopes her knowledge of security systems, secured key systems, and grant writing skills will enhance the department.
