Latin America / Mexico / World. The History Department at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of modern Latin American history, with preference for Mexican history. The selected individual will teach upper division and graduate courses in her/his area of specialty, more general courses on Latin America, and part of the World history survey. Experience with online teaching technology, or interest in developing online courses, is welcome. An active research agenda is also expected. A Ph.D. in History by August 2008 is required.
