The English Program at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin invites applications for its pool of adjunct instructors to teach on-line composition courses. We seek individuals with prior experience teaching on-line courses. Candidates will teach one to three courses per semester as needed.
Required Qualifications: experience teaching composition on-line; M.A. in English; coursework in Rhetoric and Composition or Practicum in Teaching Composition.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in English, Rhetoric and Composition, Writing Studies, Linguistics or related field; experience teaching composition in face-to-face classes; coursework or scholarship in distance learning; scholarship in Rhetoric and Composition; experience or scholarship in dual-enrollment education
