The University of Texas of the Permian Basin has partnered with Nelnet Business Solutions, formerly FACTS Management Co., to help meet your educational expenses. Nelnet offers a monthly payment plan. It is not a loan; therefore you have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed and there is no credit check.
The cost to budget monthly payments is a $25 per semester nonrefundable Nelnet Enrollment Fee. The Nelnet Enrollment Fee is automatically deducted from your account within 14 days of your agreement being posted to the Nelnet system. Payments will be automatically deducted from a checking or savings account. Tuition and Housing payments will be deducted on the 5th of each month. You may also have your payment charged to your credit card. PLEASE NOTE: Check, Debit, and ATM Cards may be returned unpaid due to daily limits restrictions imposed by your bank.
If your scheduled payment is not successful, it will be either reattempted on the 20th if the original payment was scheduled for the 5th or reattempted on the 5th of the following month if the original payment was scheduled for the 20th. Any time a payment is missed, you will receive notification from Nelnet on how the missed payment will be handled. Your Nelnet agreement will be processed until the balance owed is paid in full.
For each missed payment, Nelnet assesses a $25 Nelnet Missed Payment Fee. Nelnet Missed Payment Fees are automatically deducted from the account you have provided. If your Nelnet Missed Payment Fee is missed, it will be reattempted. Nelnet Missed Payment Fees are payable to Nelnet.
Nelnet Enrollment Fees and Missed Payment Fees are subject to change in future academic years or semesters, unless otherwise agreed by Nelnet Business Solutions and The University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
